2.25 stars. I did not like this story. Cheryl Oliver and Joe Vu were suppose to fall in love after playing devil's advocate to each others attempt have being "Pick-Up Artists". This story read like a how to manual. Most of the time the protagonists were mentally contemplating how to get the best of the other or how not to fall victim to the other; they never really bonded as a couple. They Cheryl's primary gold was to write a story, Joe's primary gold was to keep his company relevant. The author allowed Cheryl and Joe to spent too much time at odds to expect the reader to turn on a dime and view them as a couple in love.Product details

for the next book in this sweet series. like real chocolate the anticpation leads to a delicious reward. let the games begin again! the lead couple was really likeable and their war game was cute. hope to soon read about phoung and greg.
It's a fun story. It kept me quite entertained
In this story, Joe is a professional pick up artist. He uses skills he's honed to pick up women. OK. Cheryl is a journalist who wants to expose him as being a tool. To her surprise, she likes him. I didn't get much chemistry between them but the overall plot was pretty good.
I love the way the author kept letting the main characters get close but not there...... I came ... I read ..... then I came for real!!!! Lol.
would love to read more on this author. love the interracial relationship.it gave me hope for friends who consider this.
I enjoyed this book for its pick-up artist games. Although I felt the games went on longer than necessary I enjoyed reading the story from beginning to end!
If you're a die-hard fan of the author, then you'll love this book. I felt like I was reading a newspaper article versus a romance novel. It was too sterile as the characters lacked emotional depth. The ending was predictable.
